Introduction #
You’ll probably need to import files and images into CentrixOne’s CRM. Where you import them will depend on your needs.
A general file (such as a product catalogue) or an image (such as a logo) will be imported into the Documents module. They can then be used for viewing purposes or when creating your email templates. If a document is specific to a task, you can import it into the task. The same goes for an opportunity, contact or account. You can even import a file into a custom field.
When you upload a document to your CentrixOne account, it’s saved in your database, so it’s visible only to your users. For the system to allow you to upload your file, it must not exceed 100 MB in size. Its name must not exceed 95 characters or contain any special characters.
Please note that for security reasons, an executable file (e.g. “.exe” or “.js”) cannot be imported into CentrixOne.
You can view an image or PDF file within CentrixOne, but you must download other file types in order to see them.
