Introduction #
When you are working only with contacts or only with accounts, the process is simple. You just need to click on the appropriate module and create a client.
However, to assign a contact to an existing account, you need to create the contact directly from the related account card. It is the only way to properly attach a contact to this account.
Please note that once the contact is created, it is no longer possible to assign or reassign it to another account.
How to create a contact? #
- Click on the Contacts module
- Click on the + Add contact button
- Select the list in which you wish to create the contact
- Fill in the relevant fields (if you enter an email address, select the Preferred Language for sending emails)
- Click on Save
How to create an account? #
- Click on the Accounts module
- Click on the + Add account button
- Select the list in which you wish to create the account
- Fill in the relevant fields (if you enter an email address, select the Preferred Language for sending emails)
- Click on Save
How to create a contact in an existing account? #
- Click on the Accounts module
- Look for the right account and click on it to open its card
- In the Contacts section, click on the + button
- Fill in the relevant fields (if you enter an email address, select the Preferred Language for sending emails)
- Click on Save
- Click on the company name to go back to the account card
- Repeat steps 3 to 6 to add new contacts to this specific account
